Security Certificate Installation Instructions (One Time Process)

 Instructions for Windows 10 users:

  1. Click download link above
  2. Navigate to your downloads folder (click yellow folder on task bar, then click downloads in the left column)
  3. Double-click the file to run
  4. A black box will briefly appear, then disappear - this means the certificate has installed successfully
  5. Restart your computer
  6. You may now browse the Internet - Securly will prompt you to sign in with your @catahoulaschools account.

 Instructions for Windows 7 users:

  1. Click download link above
  2. Navigate to your downloads folder (click yellow folder on task bar, then click downloads in the left column)
  3. Right-click the file
  4. Click Properties
  5. Check Unblock if option is there
  6. Click Apply
  7. Click Compatibility Tab
  8. Check "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" & select Windows 7
  9. Check "Run this program as an administrator"
  10. Click Ok
  11. Double-click the file to run
  12. A black box will briefly appear, then disappear - this means the certificate has installed successfully
  13. Restart your computer
  14. You may now browse the Internet - Securly will prompt you to sign in with your @catahoulaschools account.
