A Little Bit About Us...
The Catahoula Parish School Board Transportation Department provides transportation to approximately 700 students parish wide. Over 20 buses travel a combined mileage of approximately 1700 miles every day while transporting our student to and from our schools - All while maintaining an impeccable safety record!

I live on xxxx road and I need to know which bus my child rides.
Please visit the school bus route page and find the road that you live on. Once you find your child's driver, call the driver to arrange pickup of your child. The driver will tell you the approximate times of pickup and delivery of your child/children.
I need to request transportation for my child/children.
Please complete the Transportation Request form. Someone from the Transportation department will contact you.
My child was disciplined on the bus. Who do I talk to about this?
Talk to the Principal or Assistant Principal at the school where your child attends.
I want to have my child put on another bus. Who do I call?
Complete the School Bus Transfer Request form and someone will contact you.
Another child is picking on my child while he/she is on the bus. Who do I contact about this?

What are the school bus rules and consequences?
Catahoula Parish General Bus Rules
- The bus driver may assign seats.
- Be courteous.
- Do not use profanity.
- Do not eat or drink on bus, keep the bus clean.
- Violence is prohibited.
- Remain seated.
- Do not smoke.
- Keep your hands and head inside bus.
- Do not destroy property.
- For your own safety, do not distract the driver through misbehavior.
Catahoula Parish Bus Consequences
- 1st Misconduct 1 day bus suspension
- 2nd Misconduct 2 day bus suspension
- 3rd Misconduct 3 day bus suspension
- 4th Misconduct 4 day bus suspension
- 5th Misconduct 5 day bus suspension (Conference with Child Welfare and
Attendance Supervisor and School Administrator) - 6th Misconduct 10 day bus suspension (second Conference)
- 7th Misconduct Bus expulsion for the remainder of the school year
Severe misconduct (fighting, etc.) may result in immediate bus suspension or recommendation for bus expulsion upon recommendation of administrator, as well as additional school-level consequences.
How do I request repair work for a school bus turnaround?
Complete the Transportation Turnaround Repair form and someone from the Transportation department will contact you.
